Really quite useful! Just cant help but wonder if there is... a) a way to get the eye-fi to upload files into one album without creating different albums for each day b) a way to use multiple eye-fi's with the same gallery account? E.G if two different users both have an eye-fi???????????

I have tried looking at it but unfortunately I dont know enough to figure it out.

Re: Gallery 2 Eye-Fi Patch

Amazing! I didn't figure I would find a sollution to this issue but, here it is!
Thanks for your work in figuring this out. You are correct that Gallery quickly becomes cluttered when uploading with the Eye-Fi.

Your patch solves this. I am not completely sure I understand how it works, but, who cares, right!? I just worked!

Thank You

Re: Gallery 2 Eye-Fi Patch

Ignore my post - Just dont forget to alter upload_max_filesize in php.ini to allow large photos to be uploaded.

Re: Gallery 2 Eye-Fi Patch

Great post!

Im having problems - The subgallery is created, but the photoupload fails.

Cant find any decent way to debug it.

Re: Things to buy me

well......where's the list already?

Re: Personal | chrislewis.org

It's about time you updated! and GET MORE CELL PHONE MINUTES! I purchased my MBP around the same time you have with the same Seagate hard drive. I have been wanting to upgrade for quite some time, but have been putting it off until I saw a Fry's ad selling the WD3200BEVT at an acceptable price.

I do alot of video editing so I was really looking into a 7200 hd, but feel cheap about spending the extra money for somewhat faster performance. Considering I do usually edit off an external HD drive anyways, which is essentially better, I started looking at other options.

For the past couple of days I have been debating if I should 'downgrade' to a 5400 hd because the extra storage is at a better price point for me. After seeing these results and reading your experience I now feel convinced to go out and 'downgrade' to this hard drive.
